What I have your consideration is another iconic 1980s seat post clamp. Tioga seat post clamps we’re considered an upgrade back in the day from your stock clamp. They held your seatpost true, and was sleek and sexy as an aftermarket part should be. They were found on all 80s brands from Skyway Hutch Gt Redline etc. It’s 1 inch 25.4 mm and functions as it should with branding intact. I wet sanded it starting at 240 grit worked my way up to 1500 grit and then finished with 3000 grit, then cut buff and polished.
