Unit was factory refurbished as the original drive side plastic housing shattered. The crank came with a new ‘old stock’ bike which was purchased in 2024. Having done some research it appears that all pre May 2023 meter housings had issue with the pod plastic aging and shattering. Crank was returned to 4iii who replaced both sides under warranty with the new style pods. The crank itself was only used for one summer season and hasn’t been reinstalled as I used another power meter
