Can be used on oily surfaces. Seals threads, prevents leaks and has good chemical resistance. Apply uniformly to thread. Note that active materials (e.g. iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze) ensure rapid curing, however passive materials (e.g. high-alloy stainless steel, zinc, aluminum, plastic) will cure slowly.
