Here we have a Vintage Shimano 600 Arabesque Road Bike Front Derailleur with 28.6mm Clamp and bottom pull mechanism. Hailing from the 1970s/1980s, the mech is designed for double chainrings and works best with 6 speed drivetrains. However as it works via friction, it can also be used with 5/6 or 7 speed setups.. The mech is fully functioning and all the adjustment bolts turn freely. It does have some signs of age, some rubbing to the inner side of the cage along with some superficial surface rust spots on the rear of the cage but this won’t be visible once fitted and a chain is in place. Prior to sale the mech has been cleaned and degreased and is now ready to fit.
