I also use different manufacturers for lightweight steel brake discs (Eg. lightweight Galfer Wave discs as I don't like the tendency of Shimano aluminium cored discs to warp, and steel discs last a lot longer and are more robust) plus an 11/36T cassette (size not available from Shimano) to customise my basic Dura Ace set up for my personal use.
