Here we have a lovely Vintage, SR 100mm Reach, SR Road Bike Quill Stem with 25.4mm clamp and 22.2mm shaft to fit 1” headsets. The stem has been drilled and a cable adjuster fitted allowing the stem to be used with cantilever brakes/ centre pull brakes. The job seems to have been really well done. Hailing from the 1970s/ 1980s (with a date stamp of 1979) , the stem is in good shape with only a few minor signs of age… please zoom in on the pictures to get a better appreciation of the condition. The bolts turn freely with no rust. Prior to sale the stem has been cleaned and degreased and is now ready to fit.
