For sale is a retro mtb downhill wheelset comprising the following:- Vuelta Excalibur DH rims which are super strong and pretty wide, they’re not something you see often. Quad hubs, rear freehub will take an 8/9/10 speed cassette, currently setup with a 7 speed 11-28t shimano for downhill. 6 bolt 180/160mm tektro discs. 26” standard 100/135mm quick release mtb spacing. Circa year 2000. Front hub spins smoothly, rear will need a service (basic cup and cone), both rims run true. Looks to be a few areas that have been touched up. No QR’s included. Great for an early 2000’s retro build.
